About Queen and The Queen Blog

Her name is Queen, she is my mother, and many of you know this. She has provided much light to me in many dark days. I can count the times I have seen her sad, not even when someone is sick, but for a brief moment at the passing of a closed loved one. Now I am sure she is sad at other times, but I cannot say I have witnessed this, for me she has always been standing at the ready with wisdom and knowledge and hell raising too if that is what the situation calls for, but sadness, the answer is no. She loves the Lord!

If I had to give a reason why, it would be because her childhood is one that she treasures and recognizes that as tough as it was her and so many others made it through. She grew up as a Christian and to this day her faith in God is unshakeable. That being said she has no reason to ever feel sad, one day, I finally got it. With unshakeable faith you don’t feel fear or sadness.

Now because you may not have had a Queen you don't get a pass. Life is not that complicated, you can do this. But here is the problem you are trying to do it on your own and in your own head and that just will not work! You only have the answers that come from your own frame of reference. You need to factor in a frame of reference other than just your own. A frame of reference that encompasses other ideas can in many instances get you to a better and more viable solution, a solution that will be the building block to an overall improved situation.

In most cases I find that many are turning to immediate friends and family and that in many cases quite probably is making the matter worse. I call this the blind leading the blind or the jealous leading the blind or maybe the clueless leading the blind. At any rate this is a recipe for little or no improvement.

You should be living your life to improve so that you can realize life more abundantly, this is your due. Just the other day I was speaking to my mentor and we touched on the fact that in order to do better you have to align yourself with others doing better. So not to make this complicated here is what you need to do to improve your life. Get help and advice from someone doing BETTER than you!! They are not doing better than you by accident, they are doing better than you for many reasons and you aligning yourself with them will help guide you to improving your life. When you see them make a decision especially one that you would not have made just ask them, "hey why did you do that, I would like to understand." This is the beginning to changing how you think and how you act. Seek out a mentor and start to think differently! It will improve your life!

Queen and my now deceased dad have helped to ground me and make me resilient. I have been an entrepreneur since I can remember being myself. No matter the idea, I came to them and said, “hey I am going to do this.” They barely raised their heads and responded, “hey, why not.” From where I sit that served me well, and you know why that is, it is because they put NO limits on me and they never allowed me to put limits on myself. I am forever grateful to them for this, hail to my Queen and her now deceased King.
